On Ambivalence -- The Epilogue
I apparently have very big feet.
I informed my boss in April that I would be leaving the office in September and that a replacement for me would need to be found.
Because no suitable replacement for me had been found by the end of August, I continued to work throughout September and the first week of October. I was, and am, exhausted.
I've trained seven different candidates and only one of them comes close to filling my shoes. My boss has decided to hire this candidate.
So, I turned in my office keys last night.
And just as in August, I'm filled with ambivalence.
