The Absent-Minded Professor

Opening convocation was scheduled for 10:00-10:30 a.m. this morning. Attendance is expected (faculty process into the hall) and I noted it in my agenda last week.

I arrived in my office this morning at 8:30 a.m. and started to prepare material for a class later this week. I became completely engrossed in these preparations and realized just ten minutes ago that I had forgotten the convocation and had missed it.

Shoot.

This does not bode well for my time at Small Liberal Arts College.
