On Common Courtesy
I am grumpy.
After completing my syllabus for my course, I headed over to the bookstore to place the order for the textbooks, only to learn that the orders had been due by July 10.
Further, the main textbook is available from only one publisher. And since this is a small publishing house, I may not get the textbook in time for September.
So, now I have to do some begging at the bookstore and some crossing of fingers that the texts will arrive in time.
I know that I'm not faculty, but would it have been too much to ask that I be informed about such important things as when the bookstore needs my textbook order?
