I Don't Like Good-byes

One of my students is withdrawing from Good Book Intro.

S/he was not one of my stellar students. But s/he always worked hard and came to class with a willingness to learn, participate, and make mistakes in the process.

S/he isn't old enough to purchase alcohol. But s/he is apparently old enough to serve hir country.

I'm going to miss hir.
