So Disappointed

It's bad enough that I'm grading on Christmas Eve.

But to find that one of my students plagiarized, from Wikipedia no less, makes it even worse.

To be fair, it was unlikely that this student would have passed. Although s/he attended class regularly, it was apparent throughout the course that s/he had few reading skills, no research skills, and no critical thinking skills. In my opinion, s/he shouldn't have been accepted into college.

But now I have to report hir to the academic dean.

*deep sigh*

I hate it when students plagiarize.
