Phew!

I received an email from the department head (my new boss!) concerning the courses that I'll be teaching next year.

I was very relieved to learn that the 3+1+3 teaching load (fall+January intensive+spring terms) will actually consist of only four different courses. This is because I'll be teaching four sections of the same course (two sections in the fall term, two sections in the spring term).

That means that I'll be teaching two new courses in the fall, one new course in January, and one new course in the spring.

I can totally manage that.
